Limonta in San Francisco for "Created in Italy"
First overseas appearance for the exhibit about Made in Italy at the Italian Cultural Institute
Limonta, selected as the excellence of Made in Italy textiles, participates in the project "Created in Italy - An Aptitude for the Impossible", the theme of the exhibition curated by Compasso d'Oro winners Odo Fioravanti, Giulio Iacchetti and Francesca Picchi, which stages the passionate tale of "Italian savoir faire".
One of the most iconic products on display: Dolmias, a nylon technical fabric with a particular silky effect, a polished look and a compact touch, which has contributed to the success and heritage of the company and on which it continues to invest by researching more sustainable solutions through the use of regenerated nylon and biopolymers and technical yarns of bio-based origin.
The touring exhibition opening today, 17th December, at the Italian Cultural Institute in San Francisco at the new INNOVIT - Italian Innovation and Culture Hub spaces will showcase some of the most outstanding examples of new Italian industrial design and technological innovation.
Accompanied by in-depth scrutiny, interviews and a website, the exhibit aims to expand this first collection of stories and to make the contents and cases displayed more accessible in the exploration of a naturally manifold, ever-changing reality.
The San Francisco exhibit was made possible through the collaboration of the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco and the Consulate General of Italy.
The exhibit will be open to the public from December 17th, 2021, to February 15th, 2022 | 9:30 AM-5:00 PM at the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco (new location) INNOVIT Italian Innovation and Culture Hub, 710 Sansome St., San Francisco.
