Combining a textile soul with a tanning finishing, Altera embodies the key concept of cross-pollination, which tells how innovations and changes are determined by the synergy between the different production sectors. This evolutionary process, which from Limonta's archive leads to the development of a new alternative material compared to the traditional ones, is summarized in Altera's presentation video.
The new website provides several sheets that describe the materials of the panels, which can be used in many luxury sectors, ranging from footwear, accessories, clothing, furniture and automotive. For some products, the digital passport can also be consulted, the tool that allows to discover all the sustainability indicators of a product, in terms of composition, traceability of the supply chain, emissions into the atmosphere, percentage of recycled material and material coming from renewable sources.
