Publishing 2023 Sustainability Report
Renewable energy, employee training and digital passports the main elements toward increasingly “measured” sustainability
Limonta S.p.A.'s fourth Sustainability Report has been published, covering the three-year period 2021-2022-2023. The document, prepared since 2020 on a voluntary basis, chronicles the company's progress in terms of environmental, social and economic sustainability.
This year, the key word in the Sustainability Report was “measure”: a concept made concrete by the adoption of digital passports and certified carbon footprints, which allowed for more accurate quantification of impacts related to the production of various products.
Investments in renewable energy were also significant, with the installation of 624 additional solar panels on the roofs of the Costa Masnaga plant. This investment made it possible to produce 1,160,000 kWh of energy, thanks to the photovoltaic systems installed on all of the company's plants.
Also this year, the document was enhanced by an illustrated presentation of the Limonta world and the principles behind the #beLimonta sustainability strategy.
The Sustainability Report 2023 is available at beLimonta.com, the interactive site where previous years' reports can also be viewed.
